VOLUNTEERING WITH SISA

Volunteering is one of the most gratifying ways to make a meaningful impact, and it should never be a cumbersome or stressful endeavour. Making a difference in people’s lives should flow from the heart and be facilitated by an environment that resonates with your values and supports your efforts. At SISA, our approach is deeply rooted in the heart, and we are confident that we can provide the right atmosphere for you to connect with our mission and achieve impactful results.

When you choose to volunteer at any of our events, it represents a commitment that brings immense fulfilment. To ensure the quality of your commitment, we have certain requirements in place to foster a safe, healthy, open, communicative, and supportive environment.

We offer various volunteering opportunities depending on the ongoing events, and we also have options for volunteering within our office. Volunteering with us is open to both genders, while membership has specific gender criteria. This means that both males and females are welcome to volunteer at our events.

To get started with volunteering, we request that you complete an online form or pick up a physical form from our headquarters in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, which should be submitted within a week of collection. When filling out your forms, we encourage you to select volunteering periods that align with your preferences, personality, and lifestyle.

Interviews are conducted for each applicant, aiming to create an environment where we can better understand you and vice versa. These interviews serve as an opportunity to learn more about you and how we can work productively together.
