SUMMER GRAZE '24
A new era
The She Is Sheep Educational Association for Africa Summer Graze 2024 was exactly what we prayed for. With donations and support from different people in different parts of the world, we were able to create a summer time learning atmosphere of love, inclusivity, openness, leadership and service for 2 weeks!
Commencing on the 17th of August 2024 The SISA Summer Graze hosted girls of different cultural backgrounds from different schools within and out of Akwa Ibom state at our annual free residential summer camp for adolescent girls in Adiaha Obong Commercial Secondary School Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Three meals daily for each child, alternative educational activities provided, Feminine and personal hygiene education along with starter pack provided, pastoral and health care covered, The Summer Graze is the place for all adolescent girls to learn more about who they are and who they can become – CHAMPIONS AND LEADERS OF SOCIETAL ADVANCEMENT.

The Summer Graze is a safe place where you can be who you are, who God made you to be as you grow to understand His purpose in your lives. The Summer Graze is a place for growth and development, to learn more about yourself and the world around you, learn new skills, express your creativity and of course, make new friends! Here you will learn about the capabilities you have, unlock the power in the beauty God has given you through your talents and realize the influence you are to have on your societies and the world beyond as a child and daughter of God.

Certificates
Over 47 individuals certified for attendance. Both grazer girls and volunteers were awarded certificates of attendance and voluntary work.

Attendance
32 girls attended the Summer Graze this year from different secondary schools located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

Contribution
Over 1.3 million naira donated from countries including Nigeria, United Kingdom, America and United Arab Emirates.

Girls! The Summer Graze 2023 was absolutely awesome!
